Announcing a New Drum Corps Experience
Today we announce our upcoming drum corps video game titled Drum Corps Online! The Drum Corps Online (DCO) platform is a new game that will be available on PC, Mac, and mobile devices. A Drum Corps Video Game???
- Yes, DCO is a game that will allow you to step inside the world of drum corps and the marching arts to become part of the experience. Whether you are a fan, an alumni, or are actively performing, it will have something for everyone.
What type of game play will it contain?
- There will be multiple game modes in DCO including a rhythm game (similar to Guitar Hero), a time trial game (don’t forget your drill spots!), and a full simulation mode where you can build your own virtual drum corp and grow it into a world champion.
How much will DCO cost?
- DCO will be free to play with in game purchases for additional content and and cosmetic items.
- FCNZ Studios, the developer of DCO, will contribute some portion of all DCO video game revenue back to the activity through a variety funding activities.
How can I join the community?
- There are a few different ways you can connect with the development team and the community to share ideas and get early access to news and announcements.
When will DCO be available?
- We’re planning to release in 2025 with Alpha and Beta testing starting in 2024.
