The 2023 DCI Tour Results Map

I’ve often thought that having some kind of mapping visualization might be fun to include in the review of the Drum Corps activity. On the map below, you’ll see that I’ve started with a simple map that shows the location of the shows for the 2023 season. You can zoom in and out of the map and click on the markers (the DCI logo icons) to popup the date and location of the show. You can even click on the link in the popup to go see the scores from the event.

Next Steps

Other things I’m thinking about doing with maps:

• Show the location of the corps’ home cities
• Animated map of the travel of the corps from show to show
• Analysis the distance traveled by each corps
• Review and compare past seasons
